A Lagos-based lawyer, Sebastian Ozoani, has dragged members of the Lagos Catholic Knights of St. John International before an Ikeja High Court following his expulsion.

In a fundamental rights suit marked ID/815MJR/2016, the applicant asked the court to declare as null and void his expulsion from the Catholic Knights of St. John International for lack of fair hearing.

Among orders sought, the applicant asked the court to command the respondents to withdraw forthwith the purported letter of expulsion addressed to him and the parish priest of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Pako, Idimu, Lagos.

Ozoana (applicant) urged the court to command the respondents to reinstate him to the Catholic Knights of St. John International Commander 557 Akowonjo, under the Lagos Grand Commander.

Respondents in suit are Patrick Igwilo, Peter Osamgbi, Wendel Ogunedo and Jacob Eghieyemhe.

Meanwhile, no date has been fixed for the matter.
